Whats this wire?

Not sure what this wire is and where it goes. Any help identifying this is greatly appreciated! It’s a rathe funky connector with a thin black wire.

Ah that must be the factory NSS, you can see barely see that I jumped the nss to ground. I should be good not connecting the wire right?

Only if you are not concerned with it starting up in gear sometime.

A functioning NSS is the way to go.

Shouldn’t be black wire though, but brown with yellow trace
