I placed an order on line , am told to wait for reply on shipping. A week later ...nothing!
Sent an email....3 days later, nothing!
Called , left a message ,2 days pass, nothing!
I'm waiting on Bill's stuff to fire up my new 440!

I sent him an e mail from his site. Never heard back. Been 10-12 days now.

I tried to buy something once a few months ago.
Nothing.
Hope it is a technical issue and not something bad.
I assume it's a one many show and you never know.

Unfortunately, this seems to be par for the course with Bill over the last few years. While I have had several great experiences with him (and certainly his high-quality parts), I have had the same experiences as all of you above more recently. I have waited months to get an order and communication with him can be frustrating. I know he has a regular day job but the way I see it is if you are going to run an on-line business, you need to make adequate time for it. If there are circumstances, whether personal or professional, that interfere, at least post something on your website to let your customers know. Again, I have had many great transactions with Bill and his wealth of knowledge is fantastic but the inconsistency is why I won't order from him anymore which is too bad because he sells great parts. I think all of us will agree with 'onlyone' when he states, "Hope it is a technical issue and not something bad.."

This is also at the height of the show season and all vendors are a bit slow due to the traveling....

I always have called and in less than 3 days got a return call and I haven't had any problems with him in the past buuuut Anything longer than that is inexcusable and unprofessional. If you have an online ordering system either operate it well or disable the ordering part if you cannot handle it efficiently.....

I even tried RT Specialty's and they were experiencing web site glitches so I went with YearOne , not a vast array of juicy tid bits, but the basics and they were happy to see me...
