Owner's manual lists the capacity at 21.1 and I put in 21.5 this morning.....and probably could have baby fed a bit more!
Told her that 3 times now....Had to explain to my wife again that the fuel helps cool the pump and not to run her car down below a 1/4 tank, I feel your pain.
She's got one of those already! They're looking for a nice strong handsome man to rescue them!
She's just too busy or is waiting for me to fill it up instead of her lol. Just wish she would tell me a bit ahead of time....Stupidity!
Do you think he's going to get mad when he finds out about you? She's got one of those already!![]()
Naw, she doesn't like him anyways!Do you think he's going to get mad when he finds out about you?![]()
Told her to fill it up at least when the light comes on. Both of my Dakotas have a 5 gallon reserve when the light comes on. Down side is one of them only has a 15 gallon tank while the other one is 22. It's the first one that I know of to hear about having that size tank. It's the only down side to that truck.Or cheap & want the other person to spend the $$$
even if they are married...
I always told my girls fill up when it gets to 1/4
especially with any carbureted engine, older fuel systems too
picking up trash & causing issues
it's just a less chance/s, of picking up crap from the fuel tank, in the fuel sock
like my RR has a 19 gal tank, the last 1/2 goes away faster than the 1st half
last qtr., seems like it goes away really quick, so I don't let it get under a 1/4
if I can help it...
Both my trucks are modern EFI they are usually filled up,
close to when, it's about 1/4 tank, both have 21 gal tanks,
with a small reserve, not registered on the gauge, maybe 2 gal.s
seems like the last 1/4 of a tank isn't very accurate
when filling up it varies from 13-16 gal.s & I top it off every time, as much as it will hold
so I know the capacity &can calculate mileage the best
If she cooks your dinner, washes your clothes and does the dishes.....I would let that slide.Owner's manual lists the capacity at 21.1 and I put in 21.5 this morning.....and probably could have baby fed a bit more!
She cooks mostly and does the dishes if I don't beat her to them. I'm better at it lol. My clothes are easy....I don't separate anything and if there's something that she needs washed and doesn't care if they are in with my stuff, it's no biggie. She's pretty busy with many things with the big one being her daughter that a got a brain injury when she was a teenager. Norma also works 2 days a week as an....wait for it....an even specialist....yup, she's one of those older ladies that gives out samples at a Costco. She's a 'breaker' so she's always on the move every 15 minutes. If she cooks your dinner, washes your clothes and does the dishes.....I would let that slide.
I put fuel in my wife's car all the time when she tells me it's low. Mainly because I know That I will get a receipt and I know it will be the right fuel. I also go a few extra miles and save a lot of money doing so.....most people just cruise into the first gas station they see and fill 'er up.
We have wildly different prices on the same gas from the same bulk tanks at different stations.....so saving up to 20 or even 30 cents per litre (Quart for you people who measure in Washing Machines) makes a difference. Especially so because I also fill my spare bottles with diesel and premium.Self-serve stations here are a lot cheaper than 'full serve' - that just means there is a jockey at the register inside....they don't come running out to check tyre pressures like in the '50's.
