What's your favorite handgun?

My favorite to shoot is my S&W .357 686. The semi auto is a 9mm. Have a small ruger 9 that I carry as I work in a real bad area of Phoenix.

I'm heavy in 9mm guns. I have a reloader and a brass tumbler. I haven't used it in a long time. Will my gun powder be unstable?

I’ve got about fifteen or so so, fortunately we don’t need to carry them so I just play with them. But I do shoot, a lot. For fun it’s hard to beat a 22 semi. I was lucky to get one of the ex Israeli Mossad Beretta guns when they came on the surplus market a few decades ago. Tons of fun, great history, cheap to shoot. If this thing could talk…
If I did have to carry one for defence I really like my Charter Arms Bulldog in 44 special. A whole lot of pain in a package not much larger than a starter pistol.
I also enjoy my Para Ordinance high capacity 1911. The wider grip makes it more comfortable for me to hold with my large hands. I was also lucky to pick up a crate each of Chinese surplus and Russian Tula ammo before prices went crazy.
Also enjoy my Thompson Center Contenders in 30 and 357 Herrett and 7 TCU.

Smith & Wesson Model 36 (also known as the Chiefs Special) I

introduced at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) convention in 1950, and was favorably received. A vote was held to name the new revolver, and the name "Chiefs Special" won

For a long gun, my 12 gauge Remington 870 Pump Shotgun with #4 buckshot for coyote or smaller, 00 buckshot for cougar and rifled slug for bear and larger at the cabin. BTW, I do not hunt. For protection only when I'm out for a hike on my place. The .357 Ruger is on my side also.

Colorado is about to ban the sale of all semi-automatics so it's now or never.

I guess I should ask about long guns too. I bought an AR last year and have never fired it. It's a Windham Weaponry. That guy that made Bushmaster sold the company then Bushmasters went downhill hard. After the noncompete clause expired he started making Windhams as a much better quality product. I think I paid about $500 on sale.

I'm buying a Stainless Taurus 92. 17+1. I have to have the mag pinned at 15 per Colorado law. You probably know the story. Beretta left the tooling in Brazil I think. Taurus took it over and made exact copies of the much more expensive 92 model. I always thought they were a cool looking pistol.
What? When/why?

My son bought a Glock 17.
existing:
Browning Hi Power
Browning Buckmark
Ruger Mark 4
Colt 1917 Army 45 revolver
Sig something. 9mm
Walther 38 military
Taurus 40. I forget the mod.
Ruger 380 compact
High Point 45 I know it's clunky but my daughter can shoot it without hurting her hand.
And it's guaranteed for life.
That's all I can think of.
you going to tell us where their hidden too ??

S&W 629 Classic DX 44 Mag.
Basically a production target revolver.
Only the smallest percentage that achieved the tightest groups at 50 yds received the DX designation. Still have the hand signed factory target.

I have a good all around revolver. It's a S&W 357 Magnum model 19 Police revolver. Revolvers don't leave shell casings. Lol
I have always thought the .357 revolvers were the best all around handgun. I’ve taken white-tail deer with one, great self- defense round. S&W 586 and 686.

My favorite EDC is a S&W Model 60 .357 with a Big Dot front sight and Pachmayr Compac grips.

I like just about anything that works and is accurate but won't carry anything that's smaller than a .40 cal and has a low capacity clip I mean magazine....
