I must admit I had an ulterior motive for starting this thread. I thought it would be good for stimulating ling term memory. We're all getting older ya know. Mom died last year with severe dementia but she never forgot a song.

Fawlty Towers was just pure comedy gold that followed on from the demise of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Each of the 13 episodes had a slight subtle change - the sign was messed with in the opening sequence. When this one came up, my entire family were roaring with laughter...... even my grandmother was laughing.

The best ending is this version:
(There was the first season ending, completely different from subsequent seasons, all season 2+ had variations of the music at the end, and of course the final person to say something, sometimes Rosco, sometimes Boss Hogg)

Same deal, first season intro (music and video) was different from the rest, second season on the music stayed the same, video changed.
Outro was different first season too.

The ending theme from Dukes and the beginning of Simon & Simon are forever stuck in my head, similar in a way I guess.
