Wheel opening lip mouldings..

I see what your saying now. No, I don't need the 500 trim, I have all of that. That trim is different than plain wheel lip trim. I'm looking for what would be on an R/T. 4 single lip trims and 2 rocker trim pieces. Thanks for your effort though!

[Jeff, list looks good, but there was no wheel lip molding for 67 500. Just wide body side trim. ] The R/T had the 4 single lip trims and 2 rocker trim panels. The 500 did not, it has the wide moldings, I have those. The 66 Coronet front lip trim is the same as 67. The back is different.

So, I was wrong! The numbers appear to be the same for 66 Coronet 500 and the 67 Coronet R/T. That was very helpful man, I appreciate the info and can now widen my search. Thanks!

No that's not a printing mistake. The 67 500 has the wide trim that runs front to rear. The wheel lip portion is a part of the wide molding and only covers the TOP of the wheel arch and there is nothing on the bottom below the moldings , in other words the trim goes from the front rearward and skims over the top half of the arch and keeps going. The R/T has separate arch trim that fits the entire arch all the way around. Thanks for the help!

Laysons has these as a pre order item and needs 50 sets before they will produce them.

Very interesting, that is a mistake! It looks like you have an early 67 parts book.

My 68 printing has the same mistake, I've never noticed that.

There is a mistake here, the picture shown shows the 500 side trim WITH the RT wheel lip molding, that was never produced like that, at least I've never seen one and I'm pretty sure it won't all fit together as the side trim becomes part of the wheel lip at that spot. It's kind of hard to see in the pic but the mistake is there. There are mistakes in the book, not many but they are there.

I can't tell you how many times I've looked at that picture and never noticed it.

I cant really tell but if they were cut it was a smooth job. They don't appear to be bent at all. Put them up against your wheelwells and see. Put a tape measure along the edge and tell me how many inches they are and ill measure my back openings to see.
They are cut, my 67' has the complete end, I will post pictures.
PM me, as I have a set.

Super! Thanks for the great effort to get me an answer! I appreciate it. Now....to whom do I give the numbers to get the parts?

Okay, after some reading through both '66 and '67 catalogs I see that this is the list of cars/years/models that are the same as my '67 Coronet as far as wheel arch trim goes.
1967 Coronet R/T( and Convert) F&B same, 1967 Charger F only same, 1966 Coronet 500 2 dr, 4 dr, and convert, F&B same and that's it. All other years and model/bodies are different. The part numbers I need are ...2586-302-1 and 2586-078-9 front and rear. Anyone with these model cars please let me know if you have a set of them. Thanks. PS..or ANY of them! lol.
