Hey all! First post.
I have a '64 Fury with a '68 B Body SG rearend in it. Stock springs and location in rear and the A body disc brake upgrade up front. My question is: There is a set of wheels for sale locally that I am interesyed in. They are Cragar 8x15" with 4.5" backspacing. The tires are staggered with 275 60 15 on back and 255 60 15on front. Do you think I will have fitment issues or do I need to buy new tires for these rims. They are a bargain with the existing tires, not so much if I need to change them.
Thanks, Wes

Should fit no problem. Early b bodies like ours can take a lot of tire in the back. 275-60-15 is a 28” tall tire. I have 30” cheater slicks on mine that fit. My rear end is out of a 68 as well. My rims are only 7” wide but some guys go up to 10” wide rims in the back.

Thanks, I've been measuring and scratching my head. It looked ok with my measurements but wanted a little confirmation.

show some pics when they are on the car! I love cragars on our 64s! First year they made them was 64

Went ahead and bough and mounted on car since I posted earlier. Turned out they were 295 60 15 rears and 275 60 15 fronts. They fit! Need to buy the proper 1/2" lug nuts and offset washers. They were on a Chevelle some years ago and he replaced them. He's cleaning out his storage and they had to go. I'm attaching a couple pics.

looks good!

Those front tires may not fit with and engine in the car and it sitting down at ride height.

275/6015 is a big tire for the front.

Hmmm....looked like they had plenty of room in the hole and for turning too,but won't really know until the weight is on and ride height is set. I hope you are wrong.....may be a while before we find out.
