That's a lot of Moose in a small car.....

Did the driver make it ?

According to the email that accompanied these photos, the driver sustained only minor injuries.

If that's the case they are the luckiest person in the world.

Maybe they repositioned the moose before transporting the car.

Right here in the old state of Maine! Greenville area. Driver did make it. From what I was told she walked away with just minor scrapes and bruises. Very lucky!!

However sometime after this one, month or so ago, there was a guy I knew that hit a moose in the town of Howland, Me. On I95 and didn't survive the crash. Which is usually the case. They're bad crashes!

I saw that somewhere yesterday RC/DH...
When I lived in Anchorage & Palmer, Alaska in the 80's
I saw allot of wrecked cars, semi trucks even, especially in the winter, when braking is at it's premium
too many big moose wondering around, on Lake Ottis dr. or Northern Lights Blvd. in Anchorage,
or they just stroll down 4th st. or C st. downtown, cruising along with no fear of anything,
like they own the place & moose were a big % of the time, the cause of allot of the wrecks,
seen some really ugly nasty vehicle vs animal wrecks...

My sister Candy wrecked her "new" 83 Chrysler Laser, trying to avoid one, running on the C st. Bridge, heading into the entrance of Elmendorf AFB, it ran right at her head on, clipped her car, then she spun, hit/bounced off both of the sides of the bridge several times, when I got there, there was moose blood everywhere, my young niece & nephew were in the car too, scared chitless...
