I need a set of 14mm thread, .460 reach spark plugs, tapered seat. Weird set of plugs for a mopar I know, but I got the 452 heads and outside of ordering them online, I cant find any, and both autozone and oreilys are being stupid and wont check the sparkplugs without the "model"(hint: its a 1968-1977 conglomerate of charger ). So does anyone know what I should ask for to get these plugs? Napa is also an option, but they are a bit from me.

really? i just walked into auto zone and bought a set for the same heads. just ask for plugs for a 77 dodge monoco 440. you must have some real idiots working the counters. if you dont mind autolites just ask for 85's. i usually use NGK's which i will be buying later on.

The only problem is the 85s are a larger thread than my spark plug ports. I also use a tapered seat and all the ones that come up for a monaco are crush gaskets.

What year heads are they?? I went thru the tune-up specs from 65 to 72 and the plugs are either a Champion, J11Y, J14Y or a J13Y in those years. Those are all crush gasket plugs,

i just put a set of 85's in my 77 452 heads with the crush sleeve.

Do you maybe have a truck or motorhome head? I think there was some strangeness going on in the mid / late 70's with those. Find a better parts guy.

Well, Found out they were autolite 26s that it needed. I got it to start and it sounded perfect till the dash set fire. but it STARTED!
