Where the heck are all the used 14x5.5 large bolt pattern steel wheels at?

Brian - yeah, they do look like 5" wide. I guess the 5-1/2" wheels didn't get wide spread use until later than I was thinking.

I got mine from a 65 fury sedan,but my experience is the larger C bodies have a 1/2 inch wider rim

I’m using full spinner hubcaps. Maybe I should more correctly say wheel covers. Need correct 14x5.5 reflective of what Satellites would be fitted with in 66.

Im not 100% certain as Im still learning facts and details of the 66-67 cars. But I THINK only hemi cars, police and taxis got the 5.5" wheel

All the others were a 5" rim

And I didnt feel the need to find the 'Correct ' rims.
Once the wheel cover is on . You cant tell. And Im not 100% positive mine will have have them on it . Mine has 15x7 chrome magnums. And I love it just the way it is

Not looking for date coded or wheels to pass some sort of judging. I may also consider looking for a used set of 14x6 road wheels if the wheel covers will fit over them in place of the chrome rings - anyone know if they will?

The car has Magnum 500s and red lines on it now which I like, but I came across this set of perfect wheel covers and would like the option of going for the original wheel cover appearance.

The early wheels , that take the 10 inch dogdish cap , the 14 inch wheel center and the 15 inch wheel center are not the same size. There is no drop center rim shell to make a 14 inch wheel with the 10 inch cap center into a 15 inch wheel. There are rim shells to make a 15 inch wheel into a wider 15 inch wheel.
I have the 10 inch cap wheel center , resized to fit in a standard 15 inch Mopar rim shell , 13.25 and you can make any width you want , any backspace you want.
