Hey guys,
Need new rear brake drums for my 69 Superbee with 11 1/2 brakes. Where would be the best place to buy from? I want to get ones that look like the original equipment. Would places like pep boys, Auto zone, Oreilly's have them or just stick with the mopar vendors on Ebay like I normally have done? Thanks, Dave

I was lucky, my car is low mile car and still had the originals in great shape. I just had them machined. I'm looking forward to hearing the sources people have.

Although not original, I would call musclecarbrakes.com. They don't do email and you will play phone tag, but the products are excellent.

In hindsight, I would have been better off buying their products than converting to disc.

Friends 68 Chevelle has the muscle car brakes drums all around and stopping is fantastic.

I went with Bendix brand a few years back, I think yours should be the 11 inch, and if so would use Bendix PDR0365 or Pronto BD8860, both look like stock versions to me, I don't know much about Pronto. If you google either you can find several retailers that sell them both.

NAPA still has a lot of this stuff. I got my 65 rear drums and many other brake parts there.

FWIW I'd stay away from Centric Brand. I bought two of their drums for the rear of my '69 Super Bee and couldn't use them. They're big, heavy, and very much out of balance.

Dave,
I have a set, never been turned 1 has a few pits
other is nice. Make me an offer
Brian

I just ordered a set of Bendix from Summit. Price was good and free shipping with the new wheels I ordered.
