OK I have a bunch of small random parts I need for my rebuild. It is in the paint shop now and he has things I need to get. Besides Ebay where is a good place to look for parts?

Parts I am in search of... or if you know any tricks to clean pot metal?
-good condition Wing Vent Frames with window and rubber
-Tail light trim and the center R
-chrome trim clips like the ones for all the way down the car rail?
-headliner
-dash pad... Mine was cracked anyone have ideas on what to do here anything custom?
-Windshield that has blue or black tint. Mine is ok but small scratches and gold tint... will sell if interested.
-Windshield rubber gasket (are there better quality ones out there or ones to stay away from)?
-Rear windshield rubber

Ok now for just random tid bits. My car was from California but sat in a leaky shed for 15 years and now most of the pot metal, chrome, stainless steel has those pit marks. Is there a way to clean them or are they shot? with a nice paint job now having to put these sad chrome pieces on would make me sick!

Let me know thanks!

Year one, classic ind., Steele rubber. These are some.Im sure somebody else will chime in.

I just spent the last six months buying A LOT parts for my 67 Satellite and I shopped around for prices before buying--that is where I wasn't completely at a loss for finding the part at all, which was often a problem. I also had to get a lot of the trim refinished. I don't recommend doing it yourself if you can find a local metal refinisher who can do it for you at a reasonable cost. You can triage what is most high profile and take that for refinishing--try to negotiate your cost on t if you can. One of the things I did was to replace some of the pieces rather than pay to have them refinished--it was less expensive to replace small parts than to have them rechromed/replated/refinished. It all depends on the level of your restoration. Good sources for parts--look to Laysons, Classic, Mr Moparts, Herb's, Tony's, Jegs, National Moparts for parts and Vans Auto. Layson's and Mr Moparts are really good resources. A good source for weatherstripping is Detroit Muscle--I found them on eBay, but you can go to their site directly. I got my new windshield with nice blue shading from Metro Auto Parts Market at a competitive price. Send me any questions if you want.
