To answer the question, I did nothing. The starter went on my car and didn't even get it off the trailer. One of the most disappointing days of my life!

That's a real bummer. She must have been scared of all the Hemis up there. There's always next year and I hope to make it. Good thing you're using a trailer. I'll be tuning into WUTB thread!

The sad thing to me is that while I was a spectator, I saw a bunch of dedicated race cars with cages , slicks and rear suspensions that were running slower than me. Bitter/sweet I guess.
