I just got this 66 coronet about 1 month ago and drove it 70 miles to my house without any problems.
In the meantime, my plans were to replace all the suspension parts, convert to front disk brakes and replace all the rear drum parts along with new brake lines and MS, etc.
Well, I went out to back the car into the garage to start the work, when, the brake pedal went all the way to the floor without any resistance. I mean I couldn't even pump the brakes back up.
1st thing I did was to look under the car for leaks....non found.....and the single MS in full of fluid.
I don't care as I'm changing it all. Just that I'm glad this happen at the house, and not while I was driving it home.
Just another reason to change the single MS to dual....
Just wanted to pass this on....I'll find out what happen as I take this apart.
