Which gas/fuel tank

Hi,

I need your help. I need a new gas tank for my 77 Plymouth Fury (b-body) with single exhaust but can't find one.
So I looked up one for the 76 Fury. That's the Spectra CR22A. Can someone tell me if this tank fits the 77 Fury too ?
The CR21 is for dual exhaust, right ?

Not sure if that's the same. I would call them to verify. I just bought a gas tank from Quanta, you could call them also.

As slimert said you can call Spectra Premium. If they can't tell you call National Moparts or another reseller of spectra tanks. They will do the checking and let you know. I'd think that its the same because the Cordoba uses the same tanks through 75-77 and its also a bbody. If you can remove it and see if it has the 'hump' on the top, its the CR22A. No other tank has that hump.

Remember to get a new filler tube grommet as the old one is...old, and it will be tough to get off of the old tank. Depending on your funds, get a new spectra sending unit or at least replace the sock and floats on your original. Good luck.

Hi,

thx for the answer. I've already contacted Spectra an several retailers. All of them said, that the tank won't fit.
Nevertheless I personally think it could/would fit, but the risk is too high for me (would have to import the tank to Germany).
I found a company here in Germany which can restore my old tank. Hope the result will be satisfying.
