which trunk lock? im stumped 70 charger

for my 1970 , I have now ordered 2 trunk locks and neither fit for some reason, they are too small but yet both parts places say this is what I need. it looks like there is supposed to be some sort of washer that goes around the outside or the lock flange itself needs to be about 1/4" bigger, sorry I don't have any pics or part #'s handy but maby someone has been down this road before

All of the 68-70 B-body trunk locks should be the same. it's just the length of the rod that's different. And there is no washer on the outside, just a gasket.
