Who didn't play with Play-Doh?

Lightweights sniff Play Dough. Hard core's sniff glue. Artists spread Elmers glue on their palms and peel it off when it dries.

I once worked with a goofy fukker who boasted his nickname back in the day was "Paint Chip"

I did. My kids did. In fact, I use their old play doh for doing p to v clearances when building engines. Also, for hood clearance as check/noted above already.

I dabbled in play-doh
But I mastered the art of silly putty
And now you run a print and copy shop!

I was more a Lego or Erector Set man/boy

edited; played more with Tonkas, Matchbox & Hotwheels mostly
had 100's of feet of track & the Sizzler cars & loop d'loops
the Mongoose & Snake drag set

I don't really remember having Playdough as a kid

I was gonna say I was a Silly Putty kid,
someone beat me to it

my kids, my niece & nephew were into Playdough
the girls probably ate it, they put everything in their mouths as young kids
they survived (not perverted **** guys)
I was constantly telling them; "don't put that in your mouth"
anything on the floor, off the table or counters, dog bowls, you name it,
1st place it'd go is in the mouth
I think,
but I can't say for sure, but the boys were too finicky eaters to eat it

we had real molding clay & Crayolas when I was a kid
outgrew that by 2nd grade, onto glitter & Elmers glue :poke:

we did have the lil' round/oval-shaped Oven deal
open the lid, put stuff in... with a lightbulb for heat
took like 30 min.s to cook
Incredible Edibles, spiders, snakes, other stupid stuff as molds
a bunch of aluminum molds, some sugary gelatin types of stuff as filler

You're a young pup if you played with Lego's. Check out Kenner's Girder and Panel Building Set. I had the bridge set and the building set. VTG 1958 Kenner's Bridge And Turnpike Building Set No. 4 - SEALED PARTS! | eBay VINTAGE 1960s KENNER’S GIRDER & PANEL BUILDING SET RARE # 23 | eBay
I had a Erector Set too. The one with the electric motor and gearbox with reverse. I think I have it downstairs somewhere.

A buddy of mine had Legos and I was sooooo jealous. But they were expensive even back then.....

I think I may have had the smallest starter set.
Never really got into it and never had any more.

The first toys I remember having were a ride on six wheel ATV with large size Fisher-Price figures, and Matchbox cars, then the old school Lego's, and yes those were expensive.
I'm pretty sure most of them were from yard sales.
