It sounds like Eugene Pallette, an actor between 1913 and 1946. But I was unable to confirm. Anyone know for sure who that gravelly voice was?

Are your sure it wasn't William Shatner! To boldly tune a Hemi like no one has before!

Efrem Zimbalist Sr. or Groucho Marx? Oh, he pushed DeSoto's. Efrem's kid drove Thunderbirds on 77 Sunset Strip. Ok, my apologies.

I doubt it was someone that famous.
Probably some actor voiceover person in Detroit, MI area

The sales slides training films were done by Ross Roy advertising firm in Detroit. I wouldn't think they would do the tech training though.

I read something that mentioned some guy named
"Ed the Sock" that did the voice over for the tech films
from a link to "curbside classics/blog"

I did, used a search on 'Bing' I don't do Google ever
"who did the voice overs in the Chrysler Tech training films fo the 60's & 70's ?"

Bud Taggart is a veteran Detroit area on-camera and voice-over talent, and was the "Master Technician" on Chrysler's "Master Tech" video series, the longest continuously-running training video in history.

That was an article about the famous Turbo Encabulator which was changed to the newer Retro Encabulator.

Tech is the wooden doll that popped up to stress an important point.

I've installed pretty much everything in that video.

I've had issues finding domestically sourced girdle springs that are directly fumbled into reverse anulowed invectors.

My solution was to directly invert distective flubber bubbles across a bed of zeflon proof puddles filled with non reactive zoomer inducers.

Simple!!!

Is there any market for gold master tech tools ?
