My wife gives me a lot of crap because I put stickers on everything. Toolboxes, air compressor, trailer cabinets, truck rear window ect... When I go to any performance parts show I always come home with a bag full of new stickers. I just got a new air compressor and a new Craftsman tool box stack. I didn't feel like it was mine until I added my stickers to it. I told her that it was a guy thing, so am I right? Is this a guy thing?

Tell her you won't get contingency money without the stickers:idea1:

Yer stuff looks good!

I think the stickers do look cool. They add that "Rat Rod" look that is as eternallly cool as Rat Rods themselves.
The only reason I don't put that much stickers on my stuff is my age. I'm in my mid 40's and at my age all that visual overload kind of gives me headaches.

Nothin wrong with stickers, My wife wouldn't say anything unless maybe she came home and wanted to know where i got the new kitchen appliances with them on everything.. lol

Definitely a guy thing. Last time I bought stuff from Summit, it came with a bunch of stickers so I gave them to my (then) 4 year old son. Poor dog looked like a Cup Car whrn he got done with him!!!

Old school...vintage stickers.
Lots of real estate in the side windows of my 73 Satellite Waygun..

Oh well...

I work at the factory, and put a 2.7 Magnum sticker on my riding mower......no wonder the engine blew!

no decals for me. only decal i have on my car is the FORBBODIESONLY.COM decal on my front window. no free sponsoring here!

Just look at the wife, give her your best Tim Taylor grunts and then mutter "Man Cave" as you close the door behind you.

Oh man! Too funny on the dog!
I used to have a box full of the STP/Petty stickers and gave them away....dang it.
The door to my 'clean' room...and couple of others. The door was started in the mid 80's. Actually, there's stickers all over the shop lol but I mostly give them away now unless I get something that I don't already have. The back door of my shop was recently started.....

I don't sticker my cars up unless I'm getting paid for it but don't see where it's going to benefit any company to sticker up a personal garage. To each their own I suppose...

Air compressor, washer, dryer, tool cabinets, roll-about cart, welder, circuit panel door, garage door and even the fridge door in my kitchen.
Only thing on Dart is my 'Return To Brice Rd 2003' sticker from Year One.

No I wouldn't put them on my 65 Coronet either, It is weird because I like the car to be clean but I do put them in my trailer and the rear window of my tow vehicle.

SUPERFREAK: The little boy comment was a little uncalled for. No reason for the insults you HOSER.

I dont stick anything on my cars. I absolutely hate bumper stickers. But A hard hat is completely different

mainly my shop fridge car is sticker free though.

I hate stickers AND the big brand name clothing that has their name splashed all over it. My thoughts are that if your are going to advertise for them they should pay YOU or the clothing should be considerably less. To me it is kind of like saying "I bought this expensive shirt but you wouldn't know it unless you know who made it." It has really become a peer presure thing for kids and some are picked on because they can't afford some of these clothes and the others look down on them. This is why I think schools should have uniforms.

All of this is far removed from the original poster's intent but it brought all of this to my mind.

Back on course, no I don't sticker things up, it looks junky. I also don't like all of the parts stickers on race cars, sponsors or not. It takes away from the lines of the car.
