I wish someone would have told me that owning a b body was awesome !!!
Put back my oil pan and hit the road.
So far no leaks but ..... I’m a bit concerned because I torqued the bolts to about 6-9 ft pounds

I did 15 like it said in the manual before and it keeps leaking and the gasket looked crushed in certain areas

this time I used a reusable gasket so I’m hoping if it gets loose I can just tighten it a bit more

just excited to get back on the road

so far two drives, one uphill and during traffic on a hot day and the other to get gas and no leaks.

let’s see tomorrow when I put it on The freeway.

It’s because a B-body is not a bigger car, it’s the right car.

I am the proud owner of an A-body '74 451 Duster 727 trans. (setup for 10 sec index drag racing) A B-Body near stock street '69 GTX 440 4-speed. And a crazy Pro Street E-body '70 Cuda (Monster engine)

I can say with little hesitation that the B-body is where my heart lies. It's flat out higher build quality from factory. A true muscle car. A&E bodies are pony cars. C-bodies are full size luxury. My B-body '69 GTX. No 4 door options. No 6 cyl or Small block option. It was "Muscle" or bust!

Quick walk around vid of that car. (Plenty here on B-body site probably tired of my vid?) But too bad! Lol.

20,000 plus people on this site could have told you.

...uh, what gasket?

To B... or not to B... that is the question. (Answer: to B !!!!!!!!!! )

I like E-bodies because they leave a little extra room in the garage but the B's are nice on the road (especially 71-72's) and great for packing all your buddies into for cruising.

Bigger?? It's funny I always thought of them as big too until mine was parked next to my Chevy Cruze, it might be longer but it's surprisingly shorter and weights about the same. I agree it's hard to beat them when it comes to smiles, I've built other cars and quickly got bored with them but every time I look at mine I get a big **** eating .

The worst part is that once you own one satellite regardless of the year or generation then you want another one

I keep looking at 71-72
66-68
I’m going crazy lolz

Pal has a Bitchin 70 ‘Cuda. Coronet rides like a Cadillac by comparison.
