Why I Love Mopar Guys

Okay, I was just worried that I used a title that got your hopes up and then let you down. Kinda like when they opened up your local Dicks store and you rushed over only to find out it was just sporting goods. :)

Better quit while you're a head, Richard. Oh that's right, you already are...

Hey no GM bashing! Apparently this is the forbbodiesandGMonly.com come to find out

hahaha

We're not GM bashing. We think they are great.............for the machine shop businesses and parts stores.

Yup....ratchet jawed for many hours over the years. Heck, a guy came into the garage I was working during an estate sale and we got to talking cars and I mentioned I like Mopars and it wasn't long before he mentioned this guy that lived over by the college that had a shop full of Mopars and machine tools too. I didn't remember him because it was 22 years ago but he said he was over there to buy some parts lol. Told him I still lived there....

All joking aside those are beautiful cars. Now be careful what you wish for because I know where a blue 70 SS 396 4 spd convertible is, and it might be for sale. Of course I may NOT tell you where it is! Haha!

Around here this is how you network with the other mopar guys. Selling one part might get you in contact with someone that has the stuff you are needing. Plus you will generally remember each other when you cross paths at the next hot rod function!

Hell yeah! I normally beer out! Unless its a Chebby guy then I tell them to beat feet! Lol

Uh, gee "Bru..."
Was there any beer?
As Chryco so cleverly brought up....
When I go I'll bring Budweiser and a 12 pack of Pabst for the Pabster!
(We can drink it and think of him. LOL)

The title of this thread sounds gay.

PS: At first I thought it was a "POST" that CudaChick started!
LOL

Same thing happens to me, thats how I got my last 69 S.E. 4-speed. Talk for hours on cars when someone drops by to buy a part, or burn up minutes on the phone.

Well there is always a bad apple in there somewhere. The guy I bought my car off of started off being super nice. Well he had winterized the car, drained the antifreeze, battery was dead, no gas. So I couldnt drive it. So I asked do the lights work, turn sigs, brake lights, etc...and what else would it need to get it going. Well I get her home, charge the battery, put fresh gas in try to start it and it coughs a sputters. Wont idle, even tho he rebuilt the carb...ends up he put a wrong metering plate gasket in. Then I hit the light switch......and nothing!!! No headlights, turn sigs anything....getting Pissed by now!!! Ended up being the ground wire by the battery. Anyway, this guy is a flipper and he was just trying to get rid of the car quick, he put a new gas tank in got it to start and put it on craigslist, didnt check anything else. Before I sell a vechicle im all over it, I wanna be the stand up guy that we all should strive for. I just found a month ago when i Put new shocks on, that on the gas tank the 4 lines that do the smog/emmision stuff were completely dry rotted and he just put the old lines right back on it. If your gonna go to the trouble of replacing something, do it right or not at all. But every MOPAR guy after that has been awesome to deal with.

I wish more people thought like you do rsd. I just tried to send you a Friend Request -- we ALL need friends like you! :D -- and just realized FBBO doesn't have that option. Very strange, I thought all of Joey's boards had that. Anyway, back to our regularly-scheduled programming ............
