Well there is always a bad apple in there somewhere. The guy I bought my car off of started off being super nice. Well he had winterized the car, drained the antifreeze, battery was dead, no gas. So I couldnt drive it. So I asked do the lights work, turn sigs, brake lights, etc...and what else would it need to get it going. Well I get her home, charge the battery, put fresh gas in try to start it and it coughs a sputters. Wont idle, even tho he rebuilt the carb...ends up he put a wrong metering plate gasket in. Then I hit the light switch......and nothing!!! No headlights, turn sigs anything....getting Pissed by now!!! Ended up being the ground wire by the battery. Anyway, this guy is a flipper and he was just trying to get rid of the car quick, he put a new gas tank in got it to start and put it on craigslist, didnt check anything else. Before I sell a vechicle im all over it, I wanna be the stand up guy that we all should strive for. I just found a month ago when i Put new shocks on, that on the gas tank the 4 lines that do the smog/emmision stuff were completely dry rotted and he just put the old lines right back on it. If your gonna go to the trouble of replacing something, do it right or not at all. But every MOPAR guy after that has been awesome to deal with.
