i have a 318 bored 60 over crane cam each cylinder has a 10lb increase in pressure cyl 1and 2 the same 3and 4 the same5and 6 the same 7and 8 the same. late model 302 head. motor runs good.
So you are saying you have 30 psi difference between cylinders 1 & 8. That sounds on the verge of not good, but if it's running OK, it can be run longer, but I would venture to say that the power is down noticeably. Maybe the even distribution of cylinder pressure loss is making it run smoothly.
Next step. Redo the test. Count 5 hits on the gauge each time. This time start the test on the cylinder where you finished the last test and work in reverse order.
