So the wife needs tires on her Volt, yeah I know but it still has a gas engine, yes I have other than a mopar in the driveway first time ever, saves us fuel for her commute. Anyway I sent her for the first time ever to get tires, she's fresh off china flu and needs time out anyway(10 days at home). Man is she pissed it takes 2.5 hours. She has an entire store to shop while they install em. Usually it's me, but I guess they have guns to try out and play with, fishing lures, auto department, cowboy boots, tools etc. Told her too bad she can't pretend to fry something with their pans. Guess I'm back in the basement for the night lol.

I know, but these days the fuel savings makes the payment. She still drives her Wrangler if she's not going to work.

You do realize it is Saturday 2 weeks before Christmas? And your shocked at the time it takes? 2.5 hours is fast for today.
I'm not, that's normal. She's the one shocked. It includes 4 wheel alignment too.

don't sweat it........ I just bought the wife a new Hoover, no ****

it's like an electric car in the broom world

Lol, almost as bad a Toyota, atleast it's not an import, and has a gas backup.

I'm lucky, the wife is lefthanded, so is her Dyson. I can't use that thing.

Did pretty good, already done. 2 hrs.
70$ rebate, 70$ instore credit, 1 point per $ so 80$ in my account, and buy 3 get one free.
So $370 discount on $770 bill.

If you want to get 100mpg on the volt install Michelin green X tires. Hard as a rock and very little rolling resistance. They do the trick for a fuel sipper.

I like the volt better than a Prius or any other electric or hybrid. It just never really took off so now we stuck with 100 mile range EV's.
