Wife's pregnant with our 3rd

Thanks, fellas. Yeah, we weren't expecting another but, hey, things happen lol. We have 2 boys right now and other than the little one teething from time to time, it's a real joy. I guess a boy would be more convenient cuz we have the clothes and they can all share a room a lot longer, but it would be cool having a girl too.

My wife, being a hair stylist, would really appreciate a girl, so that's what we're rooting for. But just a healthy baby is all that really matters.

Thanks again fellas, I'd be happy to have a cigar with you guys when the baby comes for sure!

Congratulations, our third was a surprise too because we were trying for number two and ended up with number two and number three - twins! We had three in diapers for awhile, now I know why my car has taken so long to make progress on, come to think of it it's a miracle it even moves under it's own power under the circumstances.

congratulations I have 4 girls oldest is 34 number 2 is 32 adopted twin 15 year old girls boys have to be easer hope every thing go's well for you and your wife

413, congrats':eusa_clap:

I waited till I was 37 to have kids. Funny thing is I predicted it. I was at work & my now Ex-wife called me on my cell during my lunch. During our discussion about paying on a credit card I blurted out, "Oh by the way you are pregnant!" she laughed and said , "I am?" Ok you so are so dang smart then what is it, a boy or a girl? My reply to her was twins. Then a few days goes by & she says that she may really be pregnant. So she goes to the doc & sure enough she is positive but the doc says something doesn't look rite on the sonogram & wants her to come back in a week. When we go back for a re-check we find out the reason the sonogram was so blurry was because there were 2 dots instead of 1. Now the girls are 7. Best thing that ever happened to me, but at what point does the drama begin?

Congrats! I have 3 sons, ages 9, 4 and 2 and 1/2. The 3rd kid is the 'turning point' of parenting and definitely tests your patience levels on a minute to minute basis. Burnouts and Beer help even that out.

Good luck!

Wow, that's crazy, man. Funny thing is before we got pregnant with our 1st, my two brothers wives were both pregnant with their first. The night my younger brother told me they were expecting, I told her we need to have a kid. So later that night I get up, pull $10 out of my wallet and put it on the night stand. She's like, what's that for? I said I bet you $10 your pregnant. And I won that bet lol.

Yeah, I'm excited. I love a busy house - look forward to the days I can come home early enough in the day to play with the little monsters.

Thanks, guys, for the congrats and thanks FBBO for getting all these good mopar guys together.

congrats Dan! I have 14 month old twin boys...had them at 42yrs old-have to say it's tough navigating all this when I am set in my ways...I am staying positive though...Congrats again!!!

I have twins too brother. They are 18 now and are indeed twice the fun and very good girls. They helped me pull the 440 and trans out of the R/T a while back and we got done about 1 AM. They loved it!

It was a lot of work when they were little with diapers and feeding but I'm so glad we had twins!

yeah...you said it...this beginning stage is a bitch! I hope it gets better when you don't have to carry them everywhere-my arms are friggin' tired!

Once you get to the several hours between feeds and later when they can walk it's better. When they can feed, dress, and walk their selves much better! I get up really early and I'm sure some of you have seen me on in the 0'dark 30 hours .. that got started when my twins were babies (premies) and had to be feed and changed around the clock. I had to feed them with a syringe and nose tube initially and when I was done feeding change the diaper, when done with that feed and change the other, then have a smoke, then do it all again. It was never ending back then, except when the wife got up and took her shift and I went to work.

Early hours were the ONLY peace I had back then. I got used to it and loved the alone time and I don't need that much sleep anyway .. seems like a waste of time to me.

Ooops sorry for that long winded rant. I just had a flashback. Carry on :)

No, you're right about that. Those early weeks where you have to feed em every 2 hours really grinds on you. Some how we all make it through but it aint easy. These days, the only time i get on the old car is either 4:30am before work or 8pm after story time. But i wouldnt trade it for the world.

For me, it's nice having all that action at home with the kids running around and making havok. It helps us all rememeber to keeps things real simple and not to sweat the small stuff.

Man I am so living in a world of dread right now. My little girls are 18 and seniors in HS right now and I cant imagine what my life is going to be like w/o them here. I'm really dreading them going off to college. Treasure it every minute and take more pictures than you think you need ... especially of the regular everyday stuff. Just pic up a camera and take pictures of them for no reason at any and all times.

What am I saying I know you are :)

Have a great evening brother.

Ooops ninga edit .. I thought I was replying to a PM. Feeling a little embarrassed right about now

I hear ya, bro. I recently went away for a long weekend of golf with the guys and had a ball. ButI missed my little monsters for sure. The chaos get tiring but no way do I ever wish for an empty house.

I keep my boys close to me at all times - when we watch movies, we're all on the couch together under the same blanket. Even our chocolate lab, Buster, lol. It gets tight but I'll be damned if it's gonna be any other way.

i'm trying to get used to this "early morning" crap! I have been working in the night club industry for 25+ years...so getting home at 5am...NO PROBLEM-waking up at 5am PROBLEM!!

I do enjoy my little monsters as well...but when they both cry and need you at the same time, it's overwhelming to say the least!

No doubt about that. Many of day have been topped off with a couple of fingers of bourbon for that very reason. Now my poor wife can't even relax with a glass of wine after a crazy day with the kids. A fact which she growls at me as I enjoy my whiskey. :)

You guys enjoy those moments of late night/early morning feedings. You will look back on those and it will put a smile on your face. When we had 2 of our grandkids for the weekend (brother/sister) one time, I was playing with the grandson throwing a blanket on him then he would take it and throw it on me, then tackle and laugh like no tomorrow. The granddaughter was laughing staying next to grandma, then just out of the blue she leans in toward me and gives me a kiss. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Kids will surprise you when you least expect it.
