I’ve cleaned up any rust and grease, and can I now spray them all black, or will there be any consequences? Not the rubber or plastic, just the metal with Rustoleum Gloss Black.

All of the window parts are galvanized, and if it were me, I'd spray those
parts with silver to reflect light. when you are inside a door or dark space
and you're trying to put a clip or nut on somewhere, you need all the help
you can get!

Don’t paint anything!! It’s all plated already. Later when you need to clean and lube them the paint will melt and just gum up everything. You’ll have a mix of melted paint, dirt, and goop in all the pivot points and roller tracks. You don’t know what will melt your paint later, the carrier in the spray lube, the brake cleaner ingredients, etc.

I’m glad you asked so I could explain this. I worked on a car that the overly caring owner did this and it was the biggest mess you ever saw. PITA

Agreed, don't paint anything not already painted.
Evaporust all your parts, or just clean if there's no rust.
Spray them with 2 coats of Boeshield T-9 and your done.
I'm no expert but that's what I'd do.
