The window gasket for 60s roadrunners are back in production. Started seeing them up for sale recently and in stock finnaly. Although the price is still high but not like it was a month ago if you could find one. About 160 ish right now, yes it is a rip lol.

Actually there still not making them yet, Steele have some that are "supposedly" in stock but heard from someone that it was unlikely any of the orders for single gaskets will be filled. I spoke with someone from Year One today and he said they are actually going through the process of tooling up and finding someone to manufacture them exclusively for them. The only company that has been making them up to this point is retooling currently and that's why they are unavailable. They are actually not making any gaskets right now that includes A & E bodies! So it wouldn't be a bad idea to get those while you can if your going to need one of those for your other Mopars.

I got an e-mail from Dante's today saying they had them for sale for $169.00.

Someone must be making them or has them stocked up because I got two emails from places I inquired about them and they seemed to have some in stock and didnt before. Now if they would straighten out the bumper producion my car could get done lol, and might help if I worked on it faster.

Good!!! Now where are those crooked rubber arm bandit's that were trying to sell them off at $300-$400 bucks a clip... Probably out mugging old lady's and stealing from the disabled veteran's jars. Bunch of hairless monkey's..........

Time for a lynch mob!!

Very funny Wil, they are still out there lol. Just checked and mine is going to be here by friday. Do you have the number of those rubber armed bandits, Id like to do bussiness with them, NOT.

Great to hear you got one coming Russ. Seen so many people going nutz trying to find those things... Even though I'm fortunate enough to be not needing a new seal yet, it sure torqued me the wrong way they're out gouging people

I was so busy being pissed at those creep's, I didn't catch their number. They should be easy to spot though. Red, Horns and carrying a pitch fork.

I am a dealer for P.R.P. just talked to them! Still waiting, sometime this month!

FYI I got one from Jim's just last week for $99!

Yea found out about this gasket yesterday when i took my car down to get the windshield replaced only to find out that it needed this gasket... I paid $169 for the windshield and thats the rate for the rubber? great... Btw how hard is it to replace a windshield at home?

What I think we will see go down is that this lag in supply is going to spur added manufacturers making these things and ultimately the price will go back down. Maybe not to where it was but hopefully closer to a hundred bucks. They still list them for $79 on the Year One website and even less in the new Classic Industries catalog.

Sucks bad, I have a buddy that works for Safelite auto glass and they can't even get them!! Although $100.00 for a windshield isnt!

Guess I got lucky (fingers x'd) on this one! Maybe I was able to get the part as other guys have been staying away from that vendor??

Just a update, windshield is in, gasket was the right one and sure looked like it was made just recently. My window guy did some extra steps to make sure the gasket bottom edge held good to the car metal, seemed to know his stuff well. Now I just need to find a way to drain the rear window bottom without it going in the trunk, overall a bad design on the rear window bottom, no wonder they all rust out there.
