Wiper linkage assembly question

We’re replacing wiper linkage bushings in a 74 Charger. This project started a couple months ago. We broke a couple bushings learning how to install them and we’re going to get back at it later this week with a new supply. Foolishly we didn’t take pictures when we took it apart and our wee brains failed to hold some critical information necessary to re-assembly. So, the linkage that goes from the wiper motor to the driver side pivot has a bend forming a shallow V. Does the point of that V point to the motor or the windshield? A picture would be great. Thanks for your help.

The point of the "V" for both linkages point upward, or toward the wiper motor.
