Ok so the wiper motor in my 63 Polara took a crap on me and I am looking to replace it but they seem to be all but impossible to find. The wiper motor on my 66 chrysler works great and is the same "variable speed" as the Polara. By Variable speed I mean you can increase/decrease wiper speed by rotating the knob but it doesnt have "speeds" indicated with the knob. The Polara motor is mounted way up under the dash and the Chrysler motor is mounted on the outside of the firewall. From the outside they look identical including the wiring, but I am just wondering if this wiper motor will in fact work. I would hate to go through the trouble of removing both wiper motors only to find they wont interchange. Wipers are pretty important here in the great pacific northwest where it rains 9 months out of the year.

According to my Hollander interchange the original # is 2275594 and was on 62-63 Plymouth and Dodges except 880s. I found mine by going on partsvoice.com It was NOS and cost about $70.00.
