wiper motor removal question

quick question I got a 67 coronet with 3 speed wipers & i removed the motor & the gasket & grommets are one . there are 3 steel bushings that fit into the grommets. The bushings have a shoulder on them & they had an o-ring on them which would be against the firewall .

question is , anyone know where to find them ???

I think I might have what you need....but I think maybe you purchased the grommets rather than the inserts?

Contact me and I'll send the inserts for you. The E body inserts will work because they have a "lip" on the one edge, insert them from the back of the grommet so that when you slide the motor onto the firewall studs the inserts don't push out of the grommets, tighten down your mounting nuts

. I have the inserts with the lip on them . When i removed the motor the insert firewall side had o rings on them ?? Is that not correct ? Or does the short side of the insert just tighten against the firewall ?

There's no O rings to the firewall. The short side of the insert tightens to the firewall.

Alot of things happen to these cars through the years, they're in alot of different hands with alot of different techniques. I never say never where Chrysler was concerned, I just have not seen a wiper motor that had O rings.

You got everything you need now to remount the wiper motor? How's Maryville weather?? I left Greenback and moved back to FL in November and boy do I miss it.

Weather is great right now but storms have been in the area .

I have a good working wiper motor that could use a clean up & new harness . Is that something you can do ??
