Looking for this connector. The other end to the cruise control stalk under dash. I need the piece on the wire connection, NOT at the end of the stalk. Showing pics for reference.
Anyone have one on an old piece or wiring or know where I can pick one up.
I did some searches but not sure what to call it. 00connector.jpg00stalk.jpg

Check the diameter of the male pins, if they are about 1/16", then that looks like common, standard Molex .062" Pin & Socket power connectors. If more like 3/32', then it is a Molex .093" Pin & Socket connector.

You can find the .062" parts on this Mouser catalog page and the .093" is 2 pages later in the same catalog. There should be enough info to check the dimensions to make sure that is the equivalent part. (You can also sometimes find these at Radio Shack.)

Well, we had boxes of them at work and I found out they are NOT standard Molex connectors. They are a bit different in shape and size. As you can see the bottom one (original) is just a little bit too big to fit into the other connector, so the search continues.

Do you need only the plastic connector? Or the wiring also? Here is what I have from a 78 Dodge Truck100_6695.jpg100_6696.jpg100_6697.jpg100_6698.jpg100_6699.jpg100_6700.jpg

Can you make an accurate measurement of the original plug's length (if you have it), or the inside length measurement of the recepticle? Also, the length of the plug that wil not fit? And the pin diameter? The triangular notch in the side of the old connector suuuuure looks familiar...

For this kind of parts, is way easier get a full harness. Seriouslly doubt about insulator availability... ignition switch harness insulators are usually way needed and also imposible to find

See, this is what I love about FBBO. You ask a simple question looking for assistance and everybody goes out of their way to hook you up. It's great!

SixPacToGo came through with everything I needed. A huge thanks to him and everyone who lended a hand to help.
