Have a 69 Super Bee with a one wire alternator and a Dakota Digital dash. Have a few specific questions. Where did you run the one wire from the alternator? Two what wire goes to the positive ammeter terminal on the back of the dash? Thanks Scott

Does not matter if you run a one wire alternator or standard alternator the wiring stays the same. There is no ammeter. You bypass it. Dakota has a voltmeter.

So nothing goes to the positive and negative posts under the dash. Got it.

There should be no posts. The two Ammeter wires should be tied together as there is no ammeter with the Dakota dash. The factory ammeter is gone.

Both of these articles are about a ‘69 Bee with a one-wire alternator with a Dakota Digital dash. It sounds like you’re confused, like many are, by the red and black wires that used to go to the ammeter. Both of those are POSITIVE and need tied together with no ammeter.
