Wiring Question?

Im Running a 1 Wire Alternator With a 6 Gauge Wire Going To The Starter Lug..

should I Put a Fuse In Between The Starter and Alternator?
Its a 140 amp Alternator..

Also From The Starter Lug Im Running a 8 Gauge Wire To My Fuse Box For a Main Feed For Power..
Should I Fuse The Wire Between The Starter And Fuse Block? Thank You

In this case I believe you will be fine without fuses if the wire is properly routed and protected.
