I'm in the middle of a carb swap and looking for a keyed power source for my electric choke. While doing this I was hoping to clean up some to the stray wires under the hood. I found this mess of wires by the alternator and was wondering if anyone knew what they were for. They are in a 1969 Coronet 500 that was originally a 318, but now a 440. Also where would be a good source for a keyed power supply for the choke, could I grab power off the back of the alternator?

The brown and green wires are the ones in question...

If I'm not mistaken the windshield washer pump and horns are run through that harness. It could be to either of those.

Brown washer and green horns.
Choke is normally hooked up to the run circuit on the full power side of the ballast.

The horn and washer pump both have power, makes me wonder why these aren't hooked up, if it is them. I'm gonna unwrap the tape off them to day and get a better look at them, there are three lines in there and two appear to be brown/green and can't remember the third...

Also I did end up hooking my choke into the wire going into the resister...
