There is a world of difference in those cars. The link you provided is for a 426 A990 race Hemi car. The original poster is asking about value of a 426 WEDGE, not a Hemi.

Without detailed pictures and info on the subject car there is no way to give an accurate valuation of the subject car.

looking for a ballpark. 62k miles, car has a repaint over original panels, brightwork is good, glass is good, #s block, 4sp, 8-3/4, a good driver car, not a trailer queen. I won't hold anyone for there guesstimates.
this is the best I can give you at this time.

thx

so they can only really be date code correct.....? correct. Not matching #'s

Yes, just date code correct

426 wedge and a 4 speed, Belevedere, 64... Assuming it has a crossramed 426.. It would be a fair estimate to say $40-$60K high end... Just the motor should be worth about $9,000, 64 Belvedere in good shape is $15 to $20... So yeah, I would ball park it at $35K at least...

This would only be correct if it was a Max Wedge car or engine. I THINK this is a 426 street wedge that is not even CLOSE to those values.

You did not tell us if it is 2 door post/hardtop/4 door...what?

What's the difference between a 426 Max wedge and a 426 Street wedge?

1964 there were two differnet 426 wedge engines. The 426 street wedge that was a single cast iron 4 barrel engine with the log type exhaust manifolds and 10.3 to 1 compression. The 426 max wedge was a 12.5 to 1 compression dual 4 barrel cross ram, with the max wedge exhaust manifolds. Two completely differnt engine packages.

Also a big differnece in values as well. Hope this helps you. Matt
