looking at selling my manual steering box, with pitman/idler and steering column as i'm going to a firm feel power steering box. I now power steering setups are a dime a dozen, was wondering how much the manual setups are worth nowadays - looking at trading a local guy for some mopar parts - just wanna know a ballpark figure so i don't get ripped off, all parts are in mint condition - its from a 71 runner....

Is the column floor or column shift?

Floor will get about 3 times as much as column shift.

sorry its a floor shift - came out of a 4 speed car

any ideas? on moparts a guy said 300$ for trade - seems low to me or has the price come that far down on these hard to find parts?

I think 300 sounds about right.

Can get them on Ebay rebuilt, basically brand new, for about 350.

I only know cuz I just switched from power to manual and needed the floor shift as Im going to a cheetah shifter from column. So I killed 2 birds with 1 stone by getting the whole column.

Dont expect too much for the box though. I saw them going for about 100. I went with a flaming river box that I got a good deal on.

Plus, alot of guys dont really need the whole column as you could just use existng power column and swap over lower portion of manual column.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is what I have found in my recent research.

Good luck on your trade or sale.
