would this work for the street?

Well, I know they are cast in Taiwan or maybe China but machined in the US. I would still check them out real good and that is not limited to just the valves, seats and guides (both position and size). Rocker shaft pedestal position, etc should be looked at also. I don't install anything without giving it a good once over. Doing a trial assembly with the intake and valve train may not be a bad idea. Assuming what needed fixing was fixed (or exchanged for another set), they should work fine and out flow all the production heads out of the box.
