would you guys ever buy a car that had been sandblasted?

It gets in places you didn't know existed - all you can do is exercise your air compressor, drill 1/2" holes for rustproofing plugs to help in tough spots ! Run a good vacuum while running wands or pcs of rubber hose blowing air into corners etc. You don't want it laying and holding any moisture - you can get most, even if you do a complete restoration some will probably sprinkle out of an A pillar or sail panel years later - but I never let it stop me - rustproof it and plug the holes !
