In 1980 there was a blue Super Bird with a 440 and automatic transmission on a used car lot.
It had a flat tire and they wanted $1500 for it. My best friend's step Dad offered $1200 for it and they declined his offer.
He wanted the drivetrain out of. He didn't care about the body.
A 440 Six Pack 4 speed Bird rusted away down by the Mississippi River. Rumor has it had 23k miles on it and someone from the
Mopar Collectors Guide was able to buy the car.
The owner always ran off anyone trying to inquire about the car. He ran me off one time and I never went back.
