Hey, newbie here looking for a nice Mopar and ran across a documented 1970 Super Bee. 383 4spd air grabber, bucket seat car. Completely stock except for color. Car was born black/black now is Top Banana with black interior. probably a 5 year old nut and bolt restoration .Car has no patchwork or filler. Car needs nothing. Car has original bill of sale from Grand Spaulding Dodge. Guy wants $33,500. That seem high to me for a 383 car with a color change but does the Mr. Norm's pedigree offset those issues? Again, car is show quality but has been driven. Probably a #2-. I'm curious to hear what you guys think. Thanks

I think its a good price
And again, it's all "relative"

What do I mean?

Well last year at a B-J Auction in RENO, 2 Hemi Cars sold for $110K on the first day of the Auction.
It was Thursday and each 1970 and 1971 car went for $55K each!
(They were worth MUCH more than buyer paid)

Assuming being a Mr. Norm's car is worth another 10 percent, yes, asking $33K is fair.
Tell him you'll give him $28K

A blk/blk 70 Bee is a rare color.
A 4-speed w/ the Air Grabber are great options also. Another 10 percent each!
They made someting like 11,540 with out the "post" (hardtop) and like 3,966 with the "post" (Coupe)
Less were made of the Superbee than the Roadrunner
(Remember, it's 1 word LOL)
A JOKE ONLY, NO WORRIES, correct spelling is as follows: Road Runner AND Super BEE

Most folk do not like the 70 Coronet front-end.
I love it.

(I personally dont care if it's a Mr. Norms or a TASCA Cobra-jet, cuz that is only relative to the question again...who wants the car...and what it's worth to them and them only. Should my equally optioned car be less OR more just because it came from Mr. Norm's Grand-Spaulding Dodge?)

Not to hijack the thread, but huh? Neither Super Bee or Road Runner were 1 word...

If you like the 70 Super Bees, there is a really nice B5 blue one on ebay right now that Mopar Muscle put together. Nice quality work.
