WTB a230 Mid Ohio Mopars swap April 20-21, 2013

desperately need a230 3 speed stick for 73 LA roadrunner.. SOMEONE s gotta have one of these. with all the 4 speed converts out there did they get thrown away??? need bell and driveshaft also ...c'mon no one even knows what they are suppose to look like. i called 11 shops allover the USA and no one knew the answer?????????? Should have both mount locations on the tailstock- probably fit a car my grandmother once had. dont make me put a muncie crapper in a mopar!!!!!!!!anybody????????? do people read these ???? Why don't you do some research, find out what they came in, post up what they are out of, which years are compatible etc. If the rest of the members are like me, you didn't really give a crap what model trans their 3 speed was because we had no intention of using it....Nobody is going to do the legwork for you...so do it and somebody will realize, oh I have one...

It looks JUST like an A833 4 speed but only has two levers instead of three. It's a damn BIG three speed. I got one sittin out here in the shop.

so why in hell wouldn't you just buy an OD 4 speed or a standard 4 speed to replace it with then? (except maybe drag race applications I can see less shifts)

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but saw this on e-bag, Item # 310652176331, is a 74 3-speed.

There's a 3-speed on Craigslist right now. Not sure if it is what you need.

FOUND ONE! 50.00 thanks to all the helpful replies If you arent knowledgable within your mopar skill set as i am NOT ,then I ask ,as there are many people always SMARTER than i am. ((((((if you are just cocky then dont REPLY) as this is not my area of expertise AND I realized that calling 14 MOPAR so called GURUS aren't as smart as they think either! So again many thanks to all that gave a thoughtful reply and helped -ATTA BOY! I would'nt ask any one how to set up my crank welder that never has seen one or use my engine balancer . ThAT would BE RUDE and non professional. SO! KUDOS to the guys and gals that gave good answers they were helpful and had knowledge -not smart alec remarks to shield their lack thereof....

Not really sure what you are referring to here. if you are talkin to me telling you to research a bit that wasn't being a smart ***, that was telling you what you need to do to get these guys to give you an accurate answer. Most people throw away a three speed so we don't pay much attention to what the model number is. All you needed was to list what they were available in...as you noticed 2 of the post say "not sure if this is what you need"...

Don't get cocky and beligerant, nobody likes an ***.
