WTB Big Block Fan/Clutch "Short" shaft

Bought viscous Mopar fan/clutch - it doesn't fit. The shaft on the clutch is too long so it hits the radiator.

Looking for working unit with short shaft. Should measure about 2-1/2" from base of flange to front of clutch (overall thickness) or less. The new units are about 3-1/4" and won't work.

i have the one you need just dont know how much you want too spend
im looking for close to 375 with the blades the blades are for a 4 speed car
the part number ends in 315 as the automatics are 316

69sixpackbee, i think your looking for the 2806070 clutch and fan. they are pricey. rebuildable cores have asking prices of $200 bucks. i have one that is all there but does have some wobble in the clutch. do some shopping around.

According to others this is supposed to work for the A12 cars with original type radiator. I have not tried it myself so take this for what it is worth.

Get the Mopar viscous fan clutch pkg. Toss out the lousy fan blade they give you with it. Use the correct studs to retain the '216' fan to the clutch. The nice thing about these units is that the mounting hub isn't slotted so it will look pretty good once installed.

If you use a Hayden #2765 (7.25" dia.) or a #2665 (6.0" dia) these work best. 2 5/8" overall height. The Mopar clutch is 3 5/8" overall heigth and sometimes makes a clearance problem. As far as looking correct, no. Then its big bucks time. Hope this helps.
