WTB WTB - Torque Converter

My friend who doesn’t do internet stuff is in need of a lightly used converter for a 68‘ Baracuda S with the 340/4bbl and 727. The motor has a purple cam upgrade and he wants to go with a bit higher stall than stock (2000-2200?). The trans is the original for the car (68’) but not sure when the 19-24 spline change occurred?
Anyone have a lightly used one to sell - or recommendations?

Thanks for the lead, but my buddy is in the same boat. He basically has a stock 340 with a purple cam and 3:55 gears. 28-3000 stall would likely be too much in an A body. A 22-2500 stall would probably be best?

Which purple cam?

2800 is not a lot of stall,even for a "mild" motor with 3.55 gears. If he only putts around like an old fart( I resemble that remark ) then maybe more than he would be comfortable with. For any spirited driving it will wake the car up a lot and still be 100% streetable at small throttle input.

Too much for a car with road gears
If you put anything less than 3000 in a light car you’ll never know you made the change in converters
Depends on the distance of your drives
Installing a smaller cam would be cheaper
