Ok, so I ordered some Mopar replacement Hemi cast iron cylinder heads (P4876855) from Jegs, to replace my original heads. I had to replace a head gasket. I removed everything, and since my original heads were in great shape I decided to put them aside and put some new ones in place. I bought new rockers and shafts etc. for the new heads. That was last May. Jegs has been keeping contact and claim they have been contacted the supplier for an ETA. Since I have the investment already, I have been holding out, needless to say my car has been out of commission.Today I checked with Mancini just because (they are local), they do not have them either, and claim Mopar may be cancelling the items all together, and maybe Edelbrock might offer something in the future. I have no more patience for this ****, and I am not going electric. Guess if I had a GM product I could go to 7 Eleven and get my parts.

LS swap? Still have an awesome looking car and increase your parts availability ten fold. Oops, did I just say that out loud lol :poke:

Aftermarket aluminum heads, they're cheaper. Suckantis is not helping. Wish Edelbrock could step in and make standard heads in iron and aluminum with 2.25/1.94 valves.

I really wanted to stay with iron(direct replacement), and try to keep as close to stock as possible. That may not be an option any longer. LS? I'd rather stare at a non running HEMI.

Well I have heard from numerous sources that Nomorepar has discontinued offering iron and aluminum cylinder heads for the Gen II 426 HEMI. Many places still show them available for purchase and projected delivery, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. I am left with slim pickings now, put the original heads back on or spend a bunch more for the aluminum option. Even the aftermarket companies have slim pickings. WOW!!! I DIDN'T KNOW VIRUSES COULD INFECT METAL. Gasoline is next, I guess I'll just buy one of those car simulators and a virtual headset.

Those MP heads are substandard anyway, they did you a favour. My personal choice is the Stage V but Edelbrocks are great and there's nothing wrong with the Indys either. Nothing wrong with what you set aside either.

Could always go this route. May have better luck finding parts :poke:

The Edelbrock options make no mention of being set-up for solids, anybody have experience with these, looks like I would have to get bare heads and set them up. Even with that option everyone says OUT OF STOCK.
