To all,
Hello and good day. I am thinking of getting rid of my 68 Coronet for a 78/79 LRT. It is 440 trim line with a mild built high mileage 318 that has good compression and runs great which is original to the car. The car is a bench seat column shift car with manual brakes and manual steering. I just spent almost 2k on getting the transmission rebuilt and converter replaced. The transmission was done/installed by John Cope (CRT) and is a 904 with a TF-2 shift kit, low gearset installed, and PTC torque converter. The suspension was gone through about 12 years ago and the car drives great. Already setup for a big block and has a rear sway bar installed KYB shocks. Fuel tank was replaced at that time as well. The car has R/T tail lights and finish panel. Some of the interior was done about 5 years ago with Legendary. Other than that the dash pad, headliner steering wheel, and some other bits are original. Has the GTX 150 mph bar speedometer calibrated/rebuilt by Redline Gauge Works along with an amp to voltmeter conversion. RTE (Real Time Engineering) IVR installed in cluster. New tires, new exhaust with Dynomax UltraFlo (Welded) Mufflers, new Champion radiator, hoses, belts, plugs, Firecore 50 wires. new ignition switch, electronic voltage regulator. Lots of upgrades on this car and the the car still the original vinyl top. It is a driver quality car and solid. There is a few things that I would address but, the car drives great. With 2.76 gears it is a great cruiser. I do have a power steering pump and power steering box I may include if the right truck came along.
At any rate I would consider a running driving LRT. It doesn't have to be a show truck but, I also don't want a major project either. I would prefer a 78 ( I know harder to find) but, if the right 79 pops up I'll consider. At any rate, I'll get some pictures of the Coronet up. If anyone is interested let me know. Otherwise, pretty soon I will put the Coronet up for sale located near Indianapolis, IN. I know it's a stretch but, it can't hurt to try or would consider $8500 cash. Thank you.

Those are old pictures. Fixed the kick panels in the interior with better ones. Also, have the certicard and receipts for most if not all the upgrades. Thank you FBBO.
