Well. IF I can get my hands on a right rear parking brake cable, a 27" output shaft and long tail housing, a couple of fuel cell filler neck items, and get my cam bearings installed, I will be done, painted, assembled and registered by August. Now, if I had 3-4000 dollars to spend I could be done by mid June. lol. There are some other small things but not a lot. The time consuming stuff with the Audi equipment is nearly finished. The body mods are done except for filler here and there. Might take a whole month to get the windows and guts back in correctly....lol.Whats your on the project completion timeline looking like these days?
no, long car shaft and 18" housing...Ill keep and eye out? Why the long tail housing and short shaft?
Yeah, i'm happily surprised. Ordering this build kit today. Red Eagle frictions and Kolene steels...

This funny, looking back. I was so gung -ho and optimistic. And clueless. lol. 5 years later and still not done. Snort!!!View attachment 226099View attachment 226100View attachment 226101View attachment 226102View attachment 226103View attachment 226104The plan is to gather the parts for mods that I want over the winter while i'm blasting and sanding so I can get it primed and painted in the early summer. I hope to be driving it by the fall. The rub is that i'm going through medical permanent disability retirement from the Army and the VA disability treadmill, plus social stupity, etc. so my finances are not optimal just now. Trying to trade for stuff. Hanging in there and working it a little at a time,.gotta pull the gas tank and some lines then I can blast away. I agree, the 67's are really sweet looking in the smooth lines and proportions. Proud to own it.
