You folks up North about to be hammered, Arctic blast on the way....

Even with all the high winds we have gotten between last night and today, the tarps stayed on my car trailer that I am in the process of putting a new roof on due to snow load damage, and my 71 Charger.

It was -15 here this morning. It was -11 last night when I moved the snow in my driveway. Makes me wish I had an enclosed cab on my skid steer. I dressed warm and it was ok.
I love snow and everything that it brings. Shoveling kind of sucks but small price to pay when I get to play in the snow with the grandkids.
 
My Newfoundland dogs have finally found a temperature they're comfortable with. It's very hard to ge them to come inside.

It went from 36F to 9F today. So far we lost power once for 3.5 hours.
 
Ok, it's 14 F here in the middle of Ga, and I have no water this morning. I assume my prep was ineffective in the well pump house for it staying below freezing for this long here. Great, just glad none of us have to travel the weekend, y'all be safe out there.
 
12 degrees this morning in SC and it sucks.
 
The house bangin, crackin and shakin all night sucks... Still gusting 90KPK... 55MPH and snowin but at least we have power again. Unlike 10's of thousands in Ontario. Just hope it stays on while the bird cooks.
 
Last night the grandkids came to spend the night. -4 with -30 windchill. Flip-flops and shorts . The oldest just started driving, I said what if car breaks down (?), oh, he’ll just get in the car!!!! Yeah, that’ll last for 5minutes.
 
We went from about 56 degrees with a lot of rain and wind yesterday to 9 degrees overnight and it’s now about 12 degrees. We also lost power yesterday from about 4am to 12pm.
 
HWY 401 is fully closed from Port Hope to the Quebec Border and East bound (I believe it is) is closed from London to Tilbury. The 402 was also closed from London to Sarnia and probably still is. 8 VIA trains are stranded between Toronto and Montreal and not a single aircraft is leaving the gate. Merry Christmas folks!!
 
RC is going to have to put his speedo away,no more trying to impress the old ladies at his local YMCA! The balmy weather up here is over,it went from 59 degrees out yesterday to 12 degrees today!

The local police are getting tired of "escorting" you out of the water aerobics class at the Y a few times a week!

14" last monday and been snowing since last night about 10pm I figure about 36". with rain in the forecast later in the week guess I'm going to be busy clearing some roofs!.
