We were talking about this at work earlier, and I thought it might be fun to hear what's on top of everyone's list.
I put "top 3" to keep things highspeedlowdrag but if you feel like listing one or three more, no worries whatsoever...as Col. Taylor said in Breaker Morant, "there are no rules here...." I would say keep it to TV shows though (so okay one rule! :p )

So for me, the General Lee has to be #1....turned me Mopar in a Chevy family!
#2...Tubbs' 1964 ragtop DeVille on Miami Vice. Pure sweetness.
#3...Magnum's 308 GTS. I'd drive that sumbitch everday.
(Gee can you tell the era I grew up in haha)

The General Lee has to be the #1 for me too even though I do get a little tired of seeing crappy "tribute" versions at car shows.
How about the Nash Bridges '71 Cuda? What about the Mannix Mopars?
I have no respect for the Knight Rider Trans Am.

'69 Charger General Lee (the car that started the Mopar thing for me)

'68 Bullitt Charger

'69 Charger in Dirty Mary Crazy Larry

Notice a trend? Lol

That 70's Show

1986 Plymouth Junkerolla

#1 Manix's 1968 Dart GTS Convertible, GG1 green/Black top & guts or stripe IIRC
cool freaken' series & car, later he had a 71 (?) cuda' (340) convertible IIRC

#1a 57 Chrysler, Black & Gold (or was it black/silver ?) convert. 392 Hemi
from cop series 'Crime Story' set in Las Vegas & Chiraq, 1950's & 60's
the Lt. Dennis Farina's car, great show too

#2 Hardcastle & McCormick's, Manta Kit Car, even if it was red,
I think it had a Porsche 2.7ltr (?) boxer engine instead of the normal VW,
it was pretty cool, I checked it out a bunch
I worked on that set as a youngster, in the early 80s
doing carpentry on the sets work, for a short time

#3 Nash Bridge's (Don Johnson's car) 71 Hemi cuda' convertible, even if it was yellow

#3a DOH GL, because it's (they all were) a Charger/s 68 or 69s,
but;
I hate all the cheesy *** freaken' clones crap, that people build fakes, that's way over done,
or it'd be #1 otherwise

#3b Peggy Lipton's (blonde broad's), 1971 Challenger V code/440 Six Pack slime-green/white convert.
from the Mod Squad
Mecum the other day reminded me of it...

not a fan of red or yellow, at all
but;
I do like orange & the 2 colors do make orange :poke:

but 2 of them are movies, not TV shows :poke: that was asked for
or I'd have picked the Bullitt Black 68 R/T
& DMCL Green (they claim its curious Yellow) R/T Chargers too

Nash Bridges cars. A friend of mine built those cars.

Yup what he said.

#1 for me would be the Bullitt Charger. Mine is somewhat of a clone to it.
#2 would be the Nash Bridges Hemi Cuda
#3 Probably Christine. Didn't like her personna much but I liked her lines and how she kept coming back.
The original Vanishing Point Hemi Challenger is pretty high up too.

Ok, fair enough. I missed that part. So my revised list would be

'69 Charger General Lee

Nash Bridges '71 Cuda

Fall Guy Chevy (I know) pick up

Good picks

the Power Wagon, from Simon & Simon was pretty cool too

Remember the episode when his 71 cuda' (Hemi Clone actually) was stolen
he claimed it was real & the car he got, he said; it was a bad clone of the "real car"

they were all clones :poke:

Don Johnson 'allegedly' claimed that he did own a real 71 Hemi cuda' vert.
at one time
it was even yellow & white, like the car on the show

1 General Lee 2 Batman 3 Starsky and Hutch and Gas Money Super Bee

I'm going to stick to the rules of "TV show", otherwise number 1, would Dirty Mary Crazy Larry Charger. Yea, it was a movie first but I first saw it on TV. I totally missed the short-lived theater release. Anyone have one they want to part with?

1. The General Lee

2. The original Batmobile.

3. Grandpa Muster's DragUla

You forgot one.

'68 Plymouth Belvedere Squad from Adam 12
'70's Dodge Rescue truck from Emergency
Broderick Crawford's '56 Buick Century from Highway Patrol

I'll toss out some that aren't Mopars:

mcq.jpg

John Wayne's Trans Am in "McQ", I love the Brewster Green and screaming chicken delete!

rockford.jpg

Jim Rockford's Firebird, the '78 was Jim Garner's favorite and I think he kept it after the series wrapped.

ta.jpg

And Steve McQueen's rental Trans Am in "The Hunter", his final film. A way cooler 'bird than Burt's! '79 WS6, the flat-faced snowflakes and Hurst T-tops don't do anything for me.
