So I installed the 4speed and made my testrun yesterday. It was awesome...

My Zbar alignment isn't quite as I should be. Nothing touches, scratches or makes funny noises and I know it's not right, but is it bad? The bellhousing ballstud should be placed back about an inch or so...

The clutch works and it's a 11" Centerforce. My left leg will be muscled-up but is this normal and, is there a slight "top-dead-center" position for the clutch?

Thanks!

Could be you have an incorrect year bellhousing to match your car. (the ball stud is in different locations)

Did you remove the "over-center" spring like Centerforce says to? You should if you haven't

Yes,the bellhousing is incorrect (1969) but is it bad? I mean, i'm not destroying anything?

There's no over-center spring...

I agree. It is bad to touch and scratch it, Because I encounter the same problem and it get worst when I did that.

if its killing your leg, try using the overcenter spring. itll let you know if its overpowering the clutch springs. im running into the same problems with my build. just try to use common sense. if the z bar is angled too much, the edge of the rods may scrape the z bar legs etc.

No, it's not "over-angled" and Centerforce states not to use the overcenterspring. The Z-bar looked a bit "modified" but a friend told me that he saw several Z-bars that looked modified but came straight from the factory...don't know if that makes any sence.
