I am going to have a second set of wheels and tires for my car. Now I have Rocket racing Strikes with radials but am going to have a set of period correct wheels and tires for the odd show I attend.
I picked up a set of rare 15x4.5 Appliance mags with brand new 6.70 15 Silvertown blackwalls for the front and scored an NOS set of 15x7 Appliances today to match the back.
Question is -what tires would you pair up with the fronts?

how about a nice set of Radir pie crusts on the back??? I like the front tires you have:headbang:

Mickey Thompson or Pro-trac. G60-15. That is period correct. H or L if it fits.

Damn I love those tires hemidart1, anyone know where to get them they look awesome...

anybody have any on their cars with real world mileage? I had a set on my '64 wagon but didn't get a chance to drive them much.

I think the Mickey Sportsmans would work-but don't like the tread. Anybody use the Pro Tracs from Coker? I do like the Hurst tires and my car never gets driven in the rain-and I do have a car trailer if I need to go somewhere far. I am not really worried about bias ply tires as I drove my last car(a Charger) on G70 redlines for a few years-no problems.
