As Wayne, @dadsbee, posted, anyone with questions about products, you can email the business at the email as listed above. Todd, Cheryl or Becky will most likely be the one that will be reading or responding to the email. If you prefer, you can email me directly to my personal account at...
@dodge68charger, in regards to your weatherstripping needs, check to see if you can reuse your door and roof rail seals along with the door end cap seals and U-jamb seals. If they are not torn or creased severely, reuse those pieces. None of the reproduction pieces will fit as well as the...
I do not believe that they were available as a factory option but was sold through the dealerships as a factory accessory. Also as you mentioned, they were also sold back in the day through the various parts suppliers like Napa and JC Whitney. Also, you could buy them in a basic generic...
I purchased several sets of "lunch pail" exhaust hangers many years ago and they were all just bare metal. Some of them had more surface rust than others. The rubber portion was actually rubber remnants cut from the side wall of tires. As for the exhaust clamps, I would say that they were...
@71RRHI, you are most certainly in the running for the long distant award. Anyways, we are quite easy to find. Our tent runs parallel to Building T, one drive aisle over, and we are in rows H and I and spots 138 through 143. You should see some of our banners with the names of Dale's Cuda...
@RJRENTON, it was my understanding that a AVS or AFB never used the "SA" identification on an assembly line carb? So is it possible that say a later production car of that model year might have an "SA" carb installed on the assembly line? Either way, with the "L2" date, it would be an over the...
The 4615S was used on 69 383 4 speed applications. Since it has an "A" following the 4615S, that identifies the carb as an over the counter service replacement. The "L2" identifies the casting date as being a November of 72 production.
Product that is currently on the shelf did not see any increase in price from the tariffs. So us vendors / manufactures have yet to see any of the consequences of any tariffs. Product that is currently in transit from China, even if it was already paid for is liable for the increase in price...
Wayne, not scolding you on your posting. I posted that i thought the price was very good and would work fine if your not doing a restoration in which date codes are important. I could not make out a casting date for the body of the carb, but if it was assembled on the 344th day, then the...
With a build date on the carb tag of the 344th day of 69, that would be the third week of December. If dates are important to the restoration and time frame of the car, it would be too late for the Superbird production.
Nevertheless, if the date code is not of importance, then that carb...
@wilky70, if your intent is to make the car correct as possible for when the car was built, then you will be looking for the correct casting date on the carb mounting base in addition to the correct part number. As @SgtSuperbird, notes that the H9. J9 and K9 would be the correct window for the...
@koosh, the 62 inch cable is the correct one. Make sure that it has the clip on connection on the end for the speedometer head and the screw on connection for the transmission. I would be afraid that the longer one would have too much length and excess which would be difficult to work with...

Purchase a good original piece and then send it out to Vacuum Orna-Metal and have it plated and detailed. There pricing will be not be much more than the cost of the poor fitting reproductions and you know that the originals fit.
